Minamikawara in Saitama Prefecture once boasted the highest slipper production volume in Japan.
In order to preserve this traditional craft of Minamikawara for future generations, we sought out a "new form" and developed a product.
Each pair is carefully handcrafted by artisans using slipper manufacturing techniques.
We deliver products that are comfortable and warm to the wearer.
We teamed up with a current fashion designer (Norio Arai) to develop a new pair of slippers that would completely change the image of existing slippers. While retaining the characteristics of Minamikawahara slippers, such as "durability of the shape" and "comfort," we improved the design by using colorful fabrics with traditional patterns from around the world. By intentionally switching the colors and patterns on the left and right sides and in different parts, this is a colorful product that you can enjoy creating your own unique combination.

[EUROPE PROVANCE Soleiado]
Soleiade is a representative brand of Provence prints from southern France.
“SOULEIAD
"O" is an old Provençal word meaning "a ray of light shining through the clouds after the rain."
The origin of Provence prints is Indian chintz, which was imported to Marseille, France's largest trading port, in the late 16th century. By blending oriental colors and patterns with the beautiful colors and unique motifs of dyes from Provence, the unique Provence prints developed and became popular in the fields of interior design and fashion.
Later, with the Industrial Revolution, cheap, machine-made fabrics hit the market, causing traditional textile printing factories to close one after another. However, Charles Demery, the founder of SOULEIADO, dedicated himself to preserving cultural heritage by purchasing textile printing factories and collecting dyeing blocks, reviving traditional Provençal prints in the modern era. Today, SOULEIADO has inherited the history of chintz that spans more than 350 years in France, and has grown into a unique brand that advocates the Provençal lifestyle.
The vibrantly colored fabrics that faithfully reflect the land of Provence continue to fascinate people today.
